My favorite book is Blood Promise. In this book, Rose, the main character, is hunting down the love of her life to ry and TERMINATE him. Dimitri, the love of Rose's life, had turned Strigoi, meaning he had become a DISSOLUTE vampire. He kills for the blood he needs while the Moroi, the CHERUBIC vampires, have volunteers who provide them with blood. Rose is unable to RELINQUISH her love of him. She finds him in Siberia where she realizes she can't CONDONE his actions anymore. He is a monster and must be dealt with. This knowledge FORTIFYS her to get the job done. This is a great book, filled with love, fantasy and action. That may have been OPINIONATED, but it is true none the less.
My Sister's Keeper is my favorite book. In the novel Sarah (mom) finds out her daughter, Kate, has leukemia. In order to SALVAGE her daughters life, she and her husband have a child, through in vitro, that will be a perfect donor for Kate. Their donor baby , Anna, feels CONDONED her whole life. Kate tells Anna that she doesn't want Anna to continue being her donor because it is ruining their family's lives. Kate knows that this will TERMINATE her life but its better than living life in misery. In order to stop being a donor, Anna will have to become physically emancipated from her parents. The mother tries to SUBJUGATE all of her families lives and will not let Anna stop being a donor. Anna puts up a law suit against her parents for physical emancipation. Anna pulls a FEINT on her parents because they think she does this for selfish reasons when really she is only doing this to help Kate's wishes come true. The Fitzgerald family is confronted with a DILEMMA that only a mircile could solve.
My favorite book is Uglies. This is a book that takes place in the future. Everyone that is normal or MEDIOCRE is considered "ugly". In this futuristic world, when you turn 16 you have a surgery that makes you "pretty". This surgery takes out all of your imperfections by making everything about you perfect. You become COMELY, strong, CHERUBIC, no longer CUMBERSOME, and unable to think for yourself. The main character, Tally Youngblood, has been waiting her whole life to become "pretty". During her wait she meets a girl named Shay and they become friends. Tally learns that Shay does not want to get the surgery but instead run away to a camp called The Smoke. On the day of the friends 16th birthday Shay runs away leaving Tally a note about where she will be. This makes her IRATE but Tally still goes to get her surgery later that day but finds out she cant untill she tracks Shay and brings her back to the city. Tally is sent on a long adventure, but eventually finds her friend and tries to SALVAGE her. When she does she learns to like the way of life at The Smoke and she doesnt want to go back. She also finds out from her new crush, David, and his parents that the surgery is extremely dangerous. It puts lesions in you brain that make you happy all of the time and causes no conflict among others. Tally learns that becoming "pretty" isn't as nice as it sounds.
My favorite book is "Paper Towns" by John Green. The book is about a boy named Quentin Jacobsen and his love for his aplomb and comely neighbor Margo Roth Spiegelman. What I like about "Paper Towns" is that Margo has an unbridled spirit, but she is also smart and thoughtful when it comes to her love of infringing into closed parks, like Sea World with her feint like reflexes. However, my favorite part of the book is when Margo disappears and it is up to Quentin decipher the innuendo that will lead Quentin to Margo. It is through these clues that Quentin learns that Margo loves music, Whitman (poet) and that she is a very thoughtful planner. Quentin also discovers that Margo is more of a mystery then he thought. Now, the real question is, does anyone truly know the real Margo Roth Siegelman.
My favorite book is Hoot. I enjoyed this book because the main characters are trying to save owls from being killed and I love animals! In this book the main character Roy Eberhardt was a MEDIOCRE boy who had just moved from Montana to Florida. On the first day of school he watched a barefoot kid run down the sidewalk away from school. When Roy chases the kid, he finds himself being ADMONISHED to stay away from the kid, by a tough, COMLEY, POMPOUS girl from school named Beatrice. Roy soon finds out the INTREPID boy is a BRIGARD. Soon after Roy also finds out that the boy is Beatrice's brother and is the person who has been vandalizing the site for a new waffle house. The boy’s name is Mullet Fingers and the 3 of them become best friends. Mullet Fingers shows Roy the beauty of Florida and shows him why he was vandalizing the site; there were tiny endangered owls living there! After Roy SURMOUNTS his fears, he decides to help stop the construction even though he gets in tons of trouble and his parents are IRATE.
My favorite book is Secret Vampire by LJ Smith. The book is about how at the beginning of the summer Poppy North finds out that she has pancreatic cancer and is going to die. Her best friend and secret love James is her only way to survive. But to save her James must INFRINGE the laws of the Night World as he is a secret vampire ans as a vampire James can make Poppy immortal but they have to BREACH all of the laws of the Night World and Poppy would need to RELINQUISH her ties to her family. James's breaking the laws would create a DILLEMA and to DIFFUSE the situation, Poppy has to be hidden and presumed dead to her family except for her twin brother Paul. But when Ash, the cousin of James, comes, creates a RIFT between Poppy and James, and almsot exposes Poppy to the elders of the NIght World it is discovered that Poppy and her brother belong in the Night World as witches, maening that Poppy is no longer an illegal vampire.
My favorite book is Dear John by Nicholas Sparks. The book is about a MEDIOCRE, OPINIONATED guy named John that falls in love with a COMELY girl named Savannah during his leave from the army. But John had to go back to the army and left Savannah. The RIFT between them made it hard for them to keep their relationship going. John finally got another break, but during it John felt his relationship with Savannah was beginning to TERMINATE. John had to go back and something tragic happened. 9/11. John had a DILEMMA either to stay and help his country or go back with Savannah. His decision was help his country. When he got another break his father died, and Savannah was married. His whole life was being in the army.
The Hunger Games, by Susanne Collins, is a very interesting novel. It is full of adventure, DILEMMA, and action. It takes place in what was North America, where there is now a futuristic society that would seem ALIEN to us in the twenty-first century. The nation is called Panem and it consists of twelve districts surrounding a shining Capitol. The Capitol is harsh and does not hesitate to EFFACE people if they disrespect the Capitol. To show their power, prevent ANARCHY, and FORTIFY their importance each year the Capitol requires each of the districts to send a boy and a girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to fight in The Hunger Games. In these televised games the children have to fight to the death while all of Panem watches. The winner is the last living tribute, and is allowed to return home. Katniss Everdeen, becomes the female tribute for district twelve. As the games begin she must attempt to SURMOUNT the other tributes in an attempt to return home to her family. The games are incredibly ARDUOUS, and take a huge toll on Katniss’s body and emotions. While trying to survive she must make choices that INFRINGE her morals. She must also do things that she would never picture herself doing, such as pretending to love someone to improve her chances of ever seeing her family again.
My favorite novel is The Giver, by Lois Lowry. It's a story about a young boy named Jonas, who lives in a community of "Sameness". In his community the adults ADMONISH the defience of the communities strict rules. If someone disobeyed the rules the Council of Elders would be forced to "Release" him or use EXPULSION to send the DISOLUTE person to Elsewhere. Jonas is about go through the Ceromony of Twelve. This is when the children are all given Assignments. Jonas had his Assignment PREDISPOSED and he was selected to be the next Reciever of Memory. Jonas has been starting to notice a difference in the SEMBLANCE of people and objects. He is starting to see objects in color. This is a result of his training to become the Reciever of Memory. Throughout the story Jonas learns about pain, anger, hunger, and love through the transfer of memories. He begins to think that everyone in his community should be able to feel these emotions. Jonas developes a plan to try and accomplish this. On the same night he tries to carry out his plan, Jonas learns that the next morning they're going to TERMINATE the baby that Jonas's family has been caring for. So instead of commencing his plan he tries to take Gabrial (baby) to the fabeled Elsewhere, this is where Jonas belives that Gabrial will be safe.
My favorite book is Hatchet by Gary Pulson. This is a wonderful story of disaster and struggle. In the beginning of the story a teenage boy named Brian is getting on a plane goinbg to see his father. Just before he leaves Brian's mother gives him a hatchet. Through a series of ERRATIC and life changing events Brian's plane crashes. This left Brian in a DILEMMA he was all alone in the wilderness. He was a MEDIOCRE survivalist at best, and he had no idea what to do or how to survive on his own. All that he had was just a hatchet. He had to FABRICATE a shelter and weapons that he could use to catch fish and other animals that he could eat. Throughout the story Brian SURMOUNTS many hardships that many people would not be able to get through. He has to endure the PERENNIAL force of nature throughout the entire story. Fighting against all odds Brian eventually prevales. He is rescued and is able to go home and be reunited with his mother.
My favorite novel that I've read is Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson. This book explains how, in high school, it is very OPINIONATED and difficult to deal with at times. The main character, Melinda Sordino, is BREACHING as a ninth grader. She seems to be an ALIEN because of the fact that she feels as if the world, including her best friends and parents, do not listen to her anymore. During the summer going into Melinda's ninth grade year, a terrible event happened to her, making her DISSENT to what those were telling her not to do. Melinda was a victim in rape at the party she went to and her first action was to call the police. Her best friends do not talk to her after the party, feeling how Melinda was immature about the situation. Melinda is put through a state of depression through out the book. The only thing she has to come back to is the old janitor's closet, in which she spends most of her time. Andy Evans, who is the upperclassman that raped Melinda, found her secret spot and comfronted her about what Melinda has said. After the schoolboard hears what really happened at the party, Andy Evans COMPENSATES for his actions. Towards the end of the novel, Melinda slowly progresses to SURMOUNT over her feelings and obstacles. Melinda Sordino is considered a hero. This is one of my favorite novels because every high schooler can relate to having problems in or out of school and trying to deal with them everyday. -Gabby
My favorite book is Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer. In this book there are three important characters: Bella, Edward, and Victoria. Bella is just a MEDIOCRE teenager in high school. Edward, Bella's boyfriend, is a vampire who is also in high school. Victoria is a vampire as well who is trying to kill Bella to COMPENSATE Edward for killing her mate; Victoria is very IRATE with Edward and PROLIFERATES many ADHERENT vampires to make an army to help kill Bella. My favorite scene in the book is when Edward is in an ALTERCATION with Victoria. The fight is at a DEADLOCK when Victoria is UNBRIDLED but Edward is UNFLINCHING. By the end of the fight, Bella is very MUDDLED and doesn't remember what happened. If you like books with romance, excitement, and a lot of DILEMMAS, you will definitely love Eclipse.
My favorite book that I have read is The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster. I find that it, unlike other HACKNEYED books, is actually entertaining to read. It starts out with a Milo, a twelve-year-old boy, driving through a tollbooth he had mysteriously received in the mail with his electric toy car. Suddenly he found himself in the land beyond, and decided to travel to dictionopolis, one of the lands two capitals and a very OPINIONATED city of grammar. By this point it was made clear that this story JEERS at puns. After a TERSE stay he begins his quest to save the princesses rhyme and reason. As he made is way to Digitopolis, the city of math, he had to SURMOUNT many difficult situations. Once he got there he put himself in a short DISSENT, but easily got out of it and convinced the Mathemagician to let the princess go. After climbing the mountains of ignorance, he made it to the castle in the sky and rescued the princesses. Having no reason to stay he went back through the tollbooth to find that only a few minutes had passed.
My favorite book is probably To try Men's Souls by Newt Gingrich and William R. Forstchen. This is a historical fiction approach to the Revolutionary War. It specifically deals with the crossing of the Delaware River. One of the characters who is followed, the UNFLINCHING and MERITORIOUS George Washington proves that the American Spirit did not die in the seemingly PERENNIAL failure of the winter months of the war. Another important figure of the Revolution, Thomas Paine, is one of the main characters of the story. He wrote the pamphlet The Crisis, which shows that he did not RELINQUISH hope, but believed in General Washington and the army. This pamphlet is also from which the title of the book is taken from. The final main character, Jonathan Van Dorn, is a private in the army. He is the fictional representation of the soldier that disagreed with the many DISSENTS and ALTERCATIONS that many in the army held. He stayed true to the cause and did not abandon like many before him. Overall the story shows that the hardships the soldiers endured were numerous. It gave a much more in depth and human approach to the Revolutionary war, and it was anything but boring.
My favorite book is 1984 by George Orwell. In this book the main character, Winston, tries to TERMINATE the OPIONATED and UNBRIDELED government that is controlled by Big Brother and the party. Every country is forming allainces such as Oceania or Euraisa so they can USURP the world. Throughout the book several people disappear becuase of they are DISSOLUTE according to the government. Later in the story Winston's behavior becomes ERRATIC so the government captures him and tortures him so he can see the party's point of view. I think this book is by far the best story even written.
My favorite book is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. This is the third book in the Harry Potter series, and in my opinion, the best. In this book Harry is told that Sirius Black, and escaped murder from the wizarding prison of Azkaban has escaped and is looking to kill Harry. In reality though, Sirius is Harry's God Father and is trying to protect him. A new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher is hired, Remus Lupin, who is a werewolf. He teacher Harry and his two best friends, Ron and Hermione , many new facts and spells regarding the dark arts. One reason that I like this book so much is because it is the last book before there are any really big problems. Harry, Ron, and Hermione are still quite CALLOW, but they are growing up and making progress becoming adults. They SURMOUNT a lot though, and there are many DILEMMAS. Overall, I think this is the best book I have read, and definitely not MEDIOCRE. This book TANTALIZES you, and you want to keep on reading. So RELINQUISH any thoughts you may have had about this book; it’s amazing!
One book that I have strong APPROBATION for is An Abundance of Katherines by John Green. The novel's main character, Colin, has a PERENNIAL affection towards girls named Katherine. In fact, he has dated nineteen Katherines. On the day of his high school graduation, Katherine XIX dumps Colin, leaving him JADED and confused. Colin and his best friend, Hassan, set out on a summer road trip to EXORCISE Colin's feelings of discontent. The adventure leads the pair through an ERRATIC set of events, pushing Colin to SURMOUNT his "just potential" status and possibly prove the outcome of future relationships through a mathematical theorem.
The one book that I have read and actually connected with is Marley & Me by John Grogan. In the novel John and Jenny (main characters) decide to RELINQUISH living by themselves and decide to start a family. John and Jenny were the happiest couple, lived in a perfect little house with not a care in the world. This all changed when the Grogans brought home Marley, a wiggly puppy labrador retriever. Marley crashed through screen doors, flung drool on guests, and ate nearly everything he could get his mouth around. He was a very UNBRIDLED dog. Even though Marley was UNFLINCHING, he was definately MERITORIOUS and had an extremely pure heart for his family. He was there when Jenny's babies arrived and when the screams of a seventeen-year-old stabbing victim pierced the night. Marley made it a priority to SURMOUNT all problems that occured in the family and became an EMINENT member of the Grogan household. Through it all, he remained steadfast, a model of devotion, even when his family was at its wit's end.
My favorite book is South of Reason by Cindy Eppes. In this book, Cindy has FABRICATED a story of a 13 year old girl, Kayla, who developes a friendship with the unique and UNFLINCHING woman next door, Lou Jean. Kayla and her family had just moved into the city where her parents grew up. As the book progresses, the FORTIFIED relationship between Kayla and Lou Jean begins to cause a RIFT between her and her mother. She doesn't understand why her mother is so IRATE until she herself discovers old secrets between her father and Lou Jean. Kayla's mother begins to MUDDLE all the relationships and nothing is left unchanged. This book is full of twists, turns, and DILEMAS that keep you wondering what else Kayla will uncover.
My favorite book is Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. The book is about the PERENNIAL love between the two main characters, Edward and Bella. Edward and his COMELY family are all vampires while Bella is a normal mortal. The book Breaking Dawn is about the struggle of love between a vampire with a gorgeous SEMBLANCE and a human. Bella and Edward get married at the beginning of the book and go on an ABRIDGED honeymoon because while they are on vacation, Bella got pregnant with a half human half vampire ALIEN baby. The book grasps the DILEMMA of Bella wanting to become a vampire and having her child. Breaking Dawn is my favorite book because I enjoy how Stephenie writes so her readers can relate to Bella and Edwards relationship. I also like how she incorporates the science fiction side of the novel by giving the readers the opportunity to experience the fictional lives of vampires.
My Favorite book is, ‘A Child Called It’ by David Pelzer. It’s a great book because it’s about a real life experience that happened to the author. During his childhood he had to learn how to ABSOND form his mother who had beaten him most of his young life. This book can also help you realize how good you may have it and can show the LURID life of a young child who never done wrong. He had to put on a SUMBLANCE, even though his mom beat him he tried to keep it a secret. The author wrote this book to AMELIORATE the lives of others.
My favorite book is Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen. This novel is about Auden a CUMBERSOME young women who just graduated high school. It is summer and she decides to go visit her dad at a tiny beach town. There she meets COMELY Eli, a mysterious young man.Auden was always very focased on school instead of her social life. Eli helps her discover the social life she never had. Eli also had a DILEMMA that made him stop riding bikes. The two go through a journey together discovering new things everyday. They seemed to FORTIFY each other, learning they could get through tough times. In the middle of the book they have a RIFT in their relationship which made me want to read on.I love how this book expresses how Auden feels and hpw she in a way grows into a women. They both SURMOUNT their hrdships in the end. The book is playful and romantic, making it fun to read. I recomend reading this fantastic novel. Sarah Ruesch
My favorite book is The Catcher In The Rye. J.D. Salinger has a very unique writing style; this book is far from HACKNEYED and has just the right kind of HIATUS. The main character, Holden Caulfield, seems to be living a MEDIOCRE life. The only catch to this is his ERRATIC personality. He attends Pencey Prep; a school for boys that he thinks is completely full of fake people. The adventure starts when Holden ABSCONDS the school in the middle of the night, since the high standards of the school couldn't CONDONE his failure to apply himself. Holden spends the remainder of the novel wandering around New York, mostly trying to figure out what to do with himself. He's an unusual character; he's brutally honest, sarcastic, and FABRICATES brilliant lies not to HOODWINK, but simply for his own amusement. Towards the end of the story, he manages to meet up with his younger sister, Phoebe. There's an unending argument over whether she actually exists or is just a figment of Holden's imagination. Holden had a younger brother that he was very attached to who died around the age of 11. The night Allie died, Holden broke of the windows in the garage with his fist. When someone loses something they adored suddenly, they may replace them with a perfect person that exists only in their mind. Phoebe seems to be the perfect child. She's brilliant, able to understand everything Holden says even though she's only 10. She's about the age Allie was when he died, another element that makes her the perfect replacement. Phoebe never interacts with any of the other characters in the book, only Holden. A final piece that eludes to the fact that it's very unlikely that she exists is that her hair is cut short in the summer yet somehow manages to grow really long by the winter. Some find this novel to be boring since Holden is somewhat depressed, but if you look hard enough, you'll see that there's an element to him that makes this story very relatable.
My favoite book is "Jimi Hendrix: The Man, The Magic, The Music." It is the biography of Jimi Hendrix. Jimi's childhood was MUDDLED, and he was in a major DILEMMA because he was born to a young ill-prepared mother. Most people CONDONED him, but little did they know he would be a huge, EMINENT star who would define his generation. It's my favorite book because his music greatly influences me. His story helped me understand his music better. My biggest dream is to make my guitar playing LUCRATIVE and TRANSCEND beyond peoples' expectations.
My favorite novel is Dear John by Nicholas Sparks. John a soldier trying to EFFACE his past, finds himself falling in an UNBRIDLED love with Savannah on his leave. Afraid that a RIFT would TERMINATE their relationship, they began to write letters to each other while John was serving. Although their love was UNFLINCHING, nothing prepared them for the LURID events of 9/11, which caused John to extend his stay in the army. Savannah was not prepared for this and so she chose to leave John. When he returned Savannah had married a close family friend, and John's father passed away. This novel is about love that changed a man forever.
My favorite book is Wild Magic by Tamora Pierce. In it, a girl named Diane has ALIEN powers that let her heal animals. At first, Daine is scared to use her powers because they make her behave ERRATICALLY. She is chased out of her home because the people want to kill her for acting strangely. She gets help discovering how to control her powers from a woman named Onua and a man called Numair. With their help she overcomes obstacles and fights half-human bird-like creatures caled Stormwings. Later on, during an ALTERCATION with the enemy when both sides are in a DEADLOCK She has to call on a kraken's powers to TERMINATE a sea battle. I am OPINIONATED that this book is excellent and interesting.
My favorite book would have to be A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning. In this book Violet, Klaus, and Sunny become orphans when their parents are TERMINATED by a mysterious fire. These three children then fall into a journey where they have to try and solve many mysteries in order to AMELIORATE their lives. They are sent to live with a distant relative named Count Olaf. He is a man whose appearance is anything but COMELY, and is constantly making FEINTS. Olaf does these things because he is trying to the fortune of the orphans. When the three children discover Olaf's horrible plan they are faced with a huge DILEMA. Their lives are in danger because Olaf will go to any extreme to get their fortune and no one will listen to the orphans when they try to tell them what is happening. After a huge kidnapping episode and a brilliant rescue mission of Sunny by her siblings Olaf is able to escape with his fellow BRIGANDS, leaving mysteries to be solved and criminals to be captured.
My favorite book is 1984. It seemed like an ARDUOUS task at first, but once I started reading the book, I didn't want to stop. It tells the story of Winston Smith. He works for the government. The government FABRICATES documents and information to help its ADHERENTS follow what it says. When Winston finds a document that he is instructed to INCINERATE, he instead SALVAGES it and takes it with him. The outcome of this moral DILEMMA makes Mr. Smith a MARAUDER. Having stolen an important document, Winston faces EXPULSION from normal society if caught. Winston manages to PROLIFERATE his ideas to a few close peers before being captured by the government.
My favorite book is Dragon Rider by Cornelia Fluke. This book is about a group of dragons that need to flee from their current home after they are ADMONISHED that it is going to be flooded. They send a Dragon named Firedrakeand his cat-like friend Sorrel to find a new home. Along the way they meet a young boy nmed Ben. As they travel they meet many LURID magical creatures. They stop in the mountians and meet mountian dwarfs that live there. He RELINQUISHES information about the dragon top a Dragon eater. They have a very ERRATIC journey but eventually make it to the new home in one piece. They TERMINATE the beast hunting them. I hope that this EPITOME makes you want to read this book in the future.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite novel is The Giver, by Lois Lowry.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is Hatchet by Gary Pulson.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite novel that I've read is Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite book that I have read is The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is probably To try Men's Souls by Newt Gingrich and William R.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is 1984 by George Orwell.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is Hunger Games. This book was FABRICATED by Suzanne Collins in 2008. This book has a little bit of everything for every persons taste in literature. This book contains romance, action, and rebellion. It takes place it what is now North America. Each year the Government COMENDERS 24 children and put them in an arena to fight to the death. The main character Katniss lives in the poorest and most ridiculed district. Life is so hard that she must PILFER small game to have food for her family. When she is chosen to participate in the games, she is sent away to the capitol to which she is met by her team that will make her COMELY. When she is going through training she must FORTIY an on-screen romance with peeta, a boy from her town. When they finally enter the arena it’s a free for all and the action begins. This is a very good book and I would recommend it to anyone. The idea is not HACKNEYED or cliché which creates a very eye catching plot.
ReplyDeleteOne book that I have strong APPROBATION for is An Abundance of Katherines by John Green.
ReplyDeleteThe one book that I have read and actually connected with is Marley & Me by John Grogan.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is South of Reason by Cindy Eppes.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer.
ReplyDeleteMy Favorite book is, ‘A Child Called It’ by David Pelzer.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen. This novel is about Auden a CUMBERSOME
ReplyDeleteyoung women who just graduated high school.

ReplyDeleteMy favoite book is "Jimi Hendrix: The Man, The Magic, The Music." It is the biography of Jimi Hendrix.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is Wild Magic by Tamora Pierce.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is 1984.
